Manufacturing process
The Pump Body for GABBIONETA Centrifugal Pumps was sent to our office directly by the customer and was scanned with a FARO laser, then in about a week the STL processing file was processed with a 3D manipulation program that allowed us to obtain all the useful measures to reproduce the Pump Body as per original sample.
The 2D mechanical processing drawing was sent to the customer to check tolerances, stud seat lengths, mounting positions on the site and so on. For the production of the foundry row material, a traditional equipment was used, subsequently the molten row material was then deburred, treated and sandblasted with a preparation time from the dimensional detection of 45/60 days, to then move on to a last phase of processing on machine tools, finally it was delivered to the customer packed in 60/90 days.
