The company started its activity back in 1960 as qualified workshop specialized in the mechanical machining of specific centrifugal pumps, working for major Italian manufacturers on exclusive basis.

As a result of this cooperation, new procedures, expertise and organization models typical of advanced industry groups were introduced in the company. Thanks to this know-how, twenty years later, GAI Costruzioni Meccaniche was able to deal with a market that, in the meantime, had evolved at a rapid rate, requesting flexibility, accuracy and high-precision manufacturing processes.
